Child Abuse Prevention Staff Training

Set Physical Limits

A great way to show campers that you care and are excited about their accomplishments is to give them a high five, fist-bump or elbow-bump!

Maintain Appropriate Verbal Interactions

Speak with and listen to campers in a manner that reflects respect of each individual, including those of different backgrounds and abilities.

Monitoring & Supervision

Spending time with campers as a group is a great way to interact safely while still creating bonds.

Setting Boundaries

Stay in touch through the camp Instagram and facebook pages. Do not connect with campers on your personal social media.
