COUNSELOR IN TRAINING (CIT)

2 Weeks, Co-ed, Rising 11th Grader

 

Our CITs spend two weeks learning techniques of caring for and encouraging younger campers as well as exposure to the counselor activity responsibilities.  CITs shadow cabin groups and are mentored to develop skills that enable them to move into our Service Corps Program.

CITs have the opportunity to assist Camp Carson staff at activity areas and learn transferable leadership skills in their leadership sessions.

 

They also work together to complete an on-site service project and take a weekend camping trip to Lincoln State Park.
